so, How does it work?

for starters you provide us with your home address

This is done for each order so that we can use your homes geo location to establish a house zone. This is done so that its easier for SMARTi to establish when “Elvis has left the building” - Elvis being you and your fellow residents who will get an account. Its also used for weather integrations and similar applications.

We then pre-configure some Communication protocols

To avoid any frustration for our users we pre-configure the various smart home protocols and communication settings that SMARTi supports so that you don’t have to. The following protocols are pre-configured and ready to use:

Zigbee 3.0 communication is implemented using Zigbee2MQTT, one of the most used and versatile Zigbee integrations in the smart home marked. It supports over 3000 devices and is actively developed and maintained regularly. The integration is open source with support for new devices added daily.

Perhaps the most robust smart home protocol available on the marked. Made ready for you on the SMARTi HUB

Wi-Fi usage is on the rise within the smart home marked. Luckily the SMARTI HUB supports Wi-Fi and in addition to this, we set up your own IoT Network on the SMARTi HUB. We call it the SMARTi-NET and it will be its own network separated form your regular home Wi-Fi for minimum disturbance and higher security.

In the last years Bluetooth-based smart home devices has also been on the rise and the SMARTi HUB also comes with Bluetooth pre-configured for ease of use for our customers. Simply connect your Bluetooth devices directly to the SMARTi HUB.

And then?

As with all smart home solutions, we need to add a bit more functionality in order to make your new smart home smart, simple and easy to use:
